Team Lead
Our client seeks a Team Lead to join their rapidly growing team. The Team Lead will ensure that all warehouse and production operations are performed under controlled conditions; safely and efficiently. They will assist the Operations Supervisor in coaching and training team members, supporting the Supervisors as needed.
Key Results Area
Assist supervisor in assigning work and directions to team members while providing training and coaching
Work and communicate with supervisor, team members, and other departments to meet client SLA and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as required
Support with determining appropriate production methods and labor levels to meet service deliverables by understanding the impact of workflow on productions by meeting performance standards
Provide ongoing information to the supervisor regarding team member performance and participate in performance discussions
Assist ISO coordinator with completing ISO audits and certification requirements
Promote Lean methodology by assisting in LEAN manufacturing activities
Comply with all safety and quality policies and conduct audits when assigned
Regularly update work instructions and process flows
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Support and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices, and work instructions
Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED is required; a four (4) year college degree is preferred
Previous leadership experience is required; preferably in a warehouse setting
Lean manufacturing experience and the use of various warehouse automation equipment (RF, Voice, etc.) is a plus
Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent math, reading, and communication skills
Able to effectively communicate and provide coaching to all employees
Superior attention to detail to ensure accuracy
Able to work independently and in a team leadership role
Capable of balancing and effectively utilizing team resources
Able to lift/move up to 40 pounds alone and greater weights in a team-lift environment; able to lift, carry, bend, stretch, and stand for long periods
