Our Client is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to provide comprehensive heating, cooling, and building systems services throughout Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on HVAC experience, particularly with hydronic heating systems, VRF/VRV systems, and BMS/BAS. The successful candidate will be dependable, professional, calm under pressure, and capable of diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC issues while maintaining strong client relationships.

Work Setup: Onsite
Compensation: $100,000 – $200,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and hydronic heating system issues.
Perform system repairs, maintenance, and equipment replacements.
Evaluate equipment and system conditions and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
Obtain necessary customer approvals before proceeding with repairs or equipment replacements.
Troubleshoot and service VRF and VRV HVAC systems.
Work with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
Respond to customer service calls and diagnose HVAC issues at client locations.
Drive to client sites throughout Brooklyn to perform service and repair work.
Maintain a professional, respectful, and customer-focused approach when interacting with clients.
Complete work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.
Remain calm and effective when responding to urgent or challenging service situations.
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of professional HVAC experience.
Strong hands-on experience with hydronic heating systems.
Proven experience with VRF and VRV systems.
Experience working with BMS/BAS systems.
EPA certification required.
FDNY certification required.
Valid, clean driver's license.
Ability and willingness to travel to client locations throughout Brooklyn.
Strong English communication skills.
Professional, respectful, and trustworthy demeanor.
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
$100,000 – $200,000 annual salary, based on experience and qualifications.
