Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate products from suppliers based on quality, availability, pricing, and company requirements.
Assist with the selection and procurement of product lines to support business and customer needs.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and other purchasing conditions with suppliers.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to understand customer requirements and ensure product availability.
Monitor purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to support timely delivery of products.
Ensure purchases comply with established contracts, specifications, and company requirements.
Monitor supplier performance, pricing, lead times, and product availability.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, documentation, and supplier information.
Support inventory planning and help identify potential supply shortages or purchasing needs.
Research market conditions, product availability, and supplier options to support purchasing decisions.
Apply purchasing best practices to improve efficiency, cost effectiveness, and supplier relationships.
Communicate purchasing updates, issues, and recommendations clearly to internal teams and suppliers.
Assist with resolving supplier, delivery, pricing, and product-related issues.
Participate in continuous learning and professional development related to purchasing and procurement.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated aptitude for negotiation and supplier relationship management.
Understanding of purchasing and procurement best practices.
Ability to evaluate supplier options, pricing, terms, and product availability.
Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, operations, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders.
Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
Ability to manage multiple purchasing activities and deadlines simultaneously.
Proficiency with standard business and computer applications.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing business environment.
Experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
$54,000 – $68,000 annual salary, based on experience and qualifications.

The Client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Buyer to support product sourcing and procurement activities.
