MAJOR AREAS OF PERFORMANCE: 
  • Assist with maintaining and understanding vendor service agreements for the facility and adjacent grounds
  • Project Management of contracted projects from outside contractors
  • Manage all outside grounds maintenance; Snow removal and grounds upkeep
  • Provide and maintain service to all company warehouse and production equipment either through outside service agreements or through internal maintenance programs.
  • Security Manager (VISA requirement)
  • Provide leadership in operations in the following areas:
  • Forklift trainer
  • GMP and other certifications
  • Vendor management (all suppliers)
  • Monitoring the security of the building
  • Overseeing training and testing of all power equipment certifications
  • Overseeing general preventive maintenance of all production and warehouse equipment
  • Perform and maintain records of all required tests and inspections of fire protection equipment, security equipment, and alarm systems
  • Oversee and understand the facility safety, fire and security systems to provide support as needed
  • Oversee and keep records of all safety inspections
  • Oversee cleaning and sanitation of the buildings, including maintaining Pest control records and ensuring quality service is being provided
  • Administer and maintain up to date records of employee access cards, lockers, and locks; promptly adding and deleting as required
  • Oversee the appropriate handling and documentation of all hazardous materials used in the facility through our MSDS program
  • Recognize and react to potential accidents and hazardous causing situations in a timely manner to help ensure that we have a safe clean and orderly working environment
  • Work with and follow ISO policies, procedures and processes
  • Provide support for audit preparedness
  • Provide a safe working environment through adherence to OSHA regulations as well as company safety policies
  • Work with Human Resources as a team on issues, employee development, safety, and communications
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
 
QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS) REQUIRED:
 
  • Associate’s degree or Vocational Certificate
  • 2+ years supervisory experience
  • Minimum 2 years warehouse/building equipment maintenance experience
  • Previous leadership experience preferred including coaching and development of employees
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, system schematics, and technical manuals
  • Ability to generate and process work on a computerized maintenance-management system  
  • Ability to determine priorities, make decisions, and manage an organized operation
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with tact and control
  • Certified forklift equipment instructor
  • PC skills
  • ISO quality knowledge and training
