Role Summary
Our client seeks a Senior Inside Sales Representative to join their rapidly growing team. The Senior Inside Sales Representative will report directly to the Branch Manager and partner with the sales team to increase sales and customer service in their region. As a senior sales representative, this role will own a book of larger, more complex accounts and is proficient in all aspects of the inside sales process focusing on proactive selling techniques to expand the current book of business.
Key Results Areas
Present and pitch company products and services to current and potential clients
Initiate sales process by preparing proposals, completing the account setup, and understanding customer requirements
Create and maintain a database of prospective clients
Make outbound calls to potential customers daily
Follow up on new leads and qualify referrals resulting from inbound lead generation
Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients
Maintain sales materials and attend sales training classes as directed to enhance current and future product knowledge
Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
Act as a liaison between customers and other operations of the branch to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded, and maintain goodwill for future business
Maintain expectations via CRM to populate status reports, including daily call log activity, follow-up calls and emails, and adherence to daily and monthly sales goals
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through activity to appropriate company staff
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events
Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience in Inside Sales
Deep knowledge in sales and sales administration
Highly motivated and possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with current and potential customers and suppliers
Exemplary customer orientation and proven negotiation skills
Strong time management and attention to detail
